At Be Loved, we believe that childbirth is a normal, healthy process that God designed and that every woman deserves the right to choose how, when, and where she gives birth. We support evidence-based practices and strive to provide individualized doula care that meets the unique needs and preferences of each family.
We offer prenatal, labor and postpartum support doula services. We work collaboratively with families to provide compassionate, family-centered care throughout the entire pregnancy and childbirth experience.
After two miscarriages, two hospital births, a tubal, severe postpartum depression and a divorce, I had no idea how any of that could ever lead me to help other women and families. I believe that God loves redemption stories and made my story reflect that.
Following the marriage to my best friend and a tubal reversal, God led my husband and I to the natural birth world and I knew immediately that I wanted to help others experience the strength that I found from God on this journey. Educating myself on how God created me and learning to surrender to how He created me to birth life is possibly the most powerful miracle I have experienced, aside from salvation. We had two incredible natural births under the care of a Godly midwife and cannot be more grateful for that season in our lives. I experienced PPD with these births as well, but that propelled me into knowing I was meant to support other women during the most life changing season in their lives.
I obtained my doula certification in 2020 and we have been supporting women and families ever since. I say "we" because when I am on call for my clients, my husband is on call for me - and he loves and supports this call as much as I do. I am currently certified through A Woman Who Serves and am often overwhelmed how perfectly He wrote my story so that I now get to witness God's miracle of life and the strength of women every day.
